PBT Rožnov p.R. s.r.o., manufacturer of high-tech cleaning systems for fine cleaning in electronics, is introducing a new revolutionary cleaning system, Super SWASH, successor of the successful model SWASH. The new model has even better process parameters, lower cost-of running and wider cleaning possibilities.
The new design targets all kinds of high-tech fine cleaning in PCB assembly:
- Metal fine-pitch stencils for solder paste and adhesives
- Plastic Pump-Print® stencils from adhesives
- Misprints solder paste and adhesives
- PCB after soldering with highest requirements on final cleanlines
Machine can have up to four process steps:
- Spray in air cleaning, temperature up to 60 °C, closed loop
- Tap water (open loop with vaste) or rough DI water (close loop) pre-rinsing
- Final DI water rinsing (closed loop)
- Hot air drying (temperature up to 110°C)
A maximum temperature of aqueous cleaning agent of 60°C enables the Super SWASH to process even PCB ssoldered with hardly soluble, lead-free, no-clean fluxes. Direct spray impact to the surface is absolutely uniform over the whole process area. New, revolutionary kinematics and arrangement of cleaning chamber has an optimal cleaning effect especially under components.
High temperature "in-situ" drying by hot air knife with very uniform and local effect provides very short drying times. Process optimization is easy—all processes are visible thanks to a light wall and window, integrated in the chamber.
All process parameters are controlled with industrial PC (Win. XP®) with touch- screen LCD interface. All relevant process parameters can be monitored and full traceability of individual PCBs (through the barcode or 2D code reading option) can be accomplished.
The process chamber and whole piping, spray-nozzle and manifold system were optimized to prevent mixing cleaner and rinsing water and to save cleaning agent. All process liquids circulate through appropriate treatment facilities in the machine. Exhaust ports are controlled by PC and, when opened, the rest of the fog is separated in fog separators and brought back to relevant tanks.
The machine has its own pressure air source for the air-knife and drying system.
Thanks to clever design, the machine with all peripherals takes up less than 2 m˛ of floor space. Robust all-stainless construction is optimal for machine cleaning and guarantees 100% ESD safety, long lifetime and virtually zero maintenance. www.pbt.cz
