FCT Assembly announces that FCT Asia has appointed Electroloy Metal to distribute the FCT assembly products including the Nihon Superior SN100 lead–free solder for sales in Hong Kong and China.
Initially developed for use in wave and selective soldering applications, SN100C® is also available as a Lead–Free HASL finish, solder paste, solid and cored wire, ribbon, pre–forms and spheres. SN100C® is quickly becoming known as the most reliable lead–free alloy in the industry and is outperforming competitive products in Japan, Asia, China, USA and Europe, with increasing numbers of leading manufacturers incorporating it into their processes.

The term/concept of synergy seems very apt when applied to the
interaction of the Occam process solderless assembly concept in
combination with a unique PCB interconnection technology called twisted
wire interconnect or TWI. 
Fortunately even the most conservative most prognosticators now see at least a subdued "recovery" in 2010.
