RASIRC®, the steam purification company, announced that Derrick Foster has joined the company as senior product manager. Foster has more than 25 years of experience with semiconductor devices and diffusion engineering. RASIRC designs and manufactures products that purify and deliver ultrapure water vapor for oxidation, cleaning, and humidification.
“Our first goal was to create a technology that is a significant improvement over older pyrolytic steam. Now we want to help our customers complete their qualification process quickly so they can begin receiving the benefits of RASIRC technology,” said Jeffrey Spiegelman, president of RASIRC. “Derrick’s experience in solving process issues around diffusion, and especially oxidation, will ensure that the wet oxidation process is improved, the furnace yield is maximized, and the ROI is short.”
Foster was most recently director of applications engineering for AVIZA Technology. Previous positions include senior staff process engineer at ST Microelectronics, manager of process engineering at ASM America, and engineering positions at Thermco, SVG, and ASML. Foster earned a degree in chemical engineering, pursued graduate studies in device physics, holds multiple patents, and is a published author in both technical and business publications.
“RASIRC is the technical leader in the application of ultrapure water vapor to solve key problems in CNT fabrication, photovoltaics, and next generation semiconductors,” said Foster. “It’s great to be part of a team bringing innovation to its customers.”
About RASIRC
RASIRC products purify and deliver ultra pure liquids and gases. RASIRC technology is the first to generate ultra high purity (UHP) steam from de-ionized water. It reduces cost, increases yield, and improves safety. RASIRC dryers, humidifiers, and steam generators are of critical importance for many applications in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical, biological, fuel cell, and power industries. Custom systems are available upon request. Call 858-259-1220, e-mail info@rasirc.com, or visit www.rasirc.com. |
