With the two existing MYDATA MY15e pickandplace machines at its UK plant rapidly approaching full utilisation and customer demand continuing to grow, JJS Electronics, one of Europes most dynamic and successful CEMs, has doubled its printed circuit board assembly capacity by once again investing in MYDATA equipment, this time in the form of a newgeneration highthroughput MY100DX14 machine.
The new machine combines the versatility and high availability for which MYDATA machines are well known with a throughput of 34,000 cph, making it economical and convenient to use in every application from prototyping through to medium volume manufacturing. At the JJS plant, the MY100DX14 will be used in conjunction with one of the existing MY15e machines to form one production line, while the other MY15e will be used on its own to form another independent production line.
"JJS Electronics has been making good use of our process optimisation service for some time," said Jason Gross, Technical Director of MYDATA, "but even we have to admit that there is a limit albeit a very high one to the productivity you can squeeze out of our machines."
"JJS had reached this limit, so a new machine was clearly the next step. With its high throughput, outstanding placement accuracy and excellent future proofing, the new MY100DX14 was an ideal choice. It is already helping the company to be even more responsive to the needs of its customers, as well as reinforcing its position as a forwardthinking worldclass CEM that is always ready to invest in excellence."
