Machine Vision Products today announced the recently introduced new Supra-E AOI will be demonstrated at at Booth 4F18 at Nepcon China 2009 in Shanghai from Apr 21st to April 24th.

With the introduction of the Supra-E, Machine Vision Products brings a high performance solution at a highly competitive price point. Combined with revolutionary ease-of-use wizard, iPro, the Supra-E will set the standard for cost effective, yet performance driven AOI.

Redefining the cost and performance ratio of AOI, Machine Vision Products, the Supra-E is configured as standard with a 5 megapixel camera with Tri-Color illumination. With resolutions between 7-17um this system is capable of inspecting 01005 components down to solder joint level. Capable of a board handling of 508x508mm (20x20 inches), this system is ideal for low to high volume and low to high mix environments.

The Supra-E is flexible to meet all traditional AOI inspection needs and can be placed at any position in the production line without the need for configuration changes.

Dr George T. Ayoub commented “With the growing demand on the SMT and Semicon/Packaging process inspection in Asia, the introduction of the price competitive Supra-E and the recently announced Ultra IV, we believe that our AOI solutions are best of breed for price and performance. Our ease-of-use iPro software platform has revolutionized our customer’s perception of rules based AOI systems allowing our customers to achieve programming times within 10-90 minutes with a high degree of confidence in the performance of our AOI systems.
