IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries®<http://www.ipc.org/> announces the June installments of the IPC Executive Webcast Series. Designed to help managers take full advantage of evolving market opportunities and business trends, the hour-long segments will take place at 1:00 pm Central time.

    •  June 2 - Solar Part I: Prepare to Take Advantage of the Solar Market - What It Takes to Break into Solar, presented by Mike Carano, vice president of marketing and strategic development, OMG Chemicals Corporation, provides an overview of the opportunities offered by solar technology.

    •  June 9 - Solar Part II: Prepare to Take Advantage of the Solar Market - Opportunities for Mergers and Acquisitions, presented by Chaim Lubin, associate, Lincoln International, covers the opportunities offered by solar technology from the business perspective.

    •  June 18 - An International Overview of the Electronics Industry - The Outlook for Regional Trends in EMS, PCB and Electronics Systems, presented by Philip Plonski, managing partner, Prismark Partners, identifies factors that will influence the evolution of regional supply and demand over the next several years.

    •  June 25 - Growing Customer Partnerships in the Current Economy, presented by Joe O’Neil, president of Hunter Technologies, highlights ways to strengthen business and, in fact, thrive in today’s economy.

    •  June 30 - You and the Stimulus Package - How the Electronics Industry Will Benefit from Tax Incentives and Manufacturing Recovery Provisions, presented by Barbara Weltman, a tax and business attorney who has authored more than a dozen books and serves as an expert media source for The New York Times; The Wall Street Journal; and The Washington Post as well as a number of respected online media outlets. The webcast will offer a clear overview of how to take full advantage of available benefits.

“Now more than ever, it is vital to be armed with the most up-to-date information and ways to use that information to help your business thrive,” urges Susan Filz, IPC director of industry programs. “This series of webinars is designed to keep executives in the electronics industry current on the many new issues that will impact their businesses - from the economy to customer relations - and help them design future business plans.”

The registration fee is $75 per hour-long segment for IPC members and $135 for nonmembers. A 20 percent discount is available to all registrants who sign up for three or more webcasts.
