Primary Aim of the EIPC Summer Conference: How to achieve cost-reduction and how to apply new technology and increase energy efficiency
This leading EIPC Summer Conference will begin on Day 1 by showing European PCB fabricators how to manage the way out of the recession and to learn about new technologies that will help to secure business in a partnership with the PCB buyers.
On Day 2, there will be a particular focus on new technology in drilling and routing. Now, all PCB specialists know that drilling and routing are the most expensive individual process steps in PCB fabrication, and will thus appreciate that participation in this session will help them to learn how to develop new drilling technology for PCBs as a cost-effective solution, In addition, a factory visit at IMPEX will provide an insight into the most modern drilling and routing shop in the world. Participants will learn how to reduce their energy bill by using the residual heat generated in the drill shop to keep offices and production floor space of more than 1000m2 heated, as well as providing unlimited hot water as well. Call it energy harvesting.
