Posted by Jade Po Kellard on 24 June 2009 at 06:00

GOEPEL electronics, world class vendor of JTAG/Boundary Scan and AOI systems, is offering a free JTAG/Boundary Scan Training Day at the premises of interested parties located in UK and Ireland. The respective seminar is addressing system architects, R&D engineers as well as test production engineers to find out how versatile and effective JTAG/Boundary Scan is for the test, programming and emulation of boards and whole systems.

During the free training day, GOEPEL electronics will be offering an overview about JTAG/Boundary Scan standards IEEE 1149.x to introduce how the technology can help at design and production stages, save time and money, extend test coverage and much more. Furthermore, there will be hands-on demonstrations of precise fault location capabilities, presentations how to test non-JTAG devices and interfaces as well as the introduction of VarioTAP®, the first real fusion of JTAG emulation and Boundary Scan test. No previous technical knowledge is required to attend the workshop.

Interested parties are welcome to register by contacting GOEPEL electronics’ UK representative Karl Miles by email k.miles@goepel.co.uk, phone 01223 858298 or on the company’s “events” webpage at www.goepel.co.uk.

GOEPEL electronics' free Boundary Scan Training Day will be run by experienced application engineers, eager to share their knowledge with the world's test community. The event is not primarily planned to present new products; even though GOEPEL electronics' innovations and general trends may be part of the event.

Small Matters

Synergy, the Occam process and twisted wire interconnect
