Just 10 UKT&I Grants remain for The Manufacturing Technology Ireland 2009 Exhibition PDF Print E-mail

Posted by Jade Po Kellard on 02 July 2009 at 06:00

For the last three years ETES have organised the sell out Manufacturing Technology Ireland Exhibition at the National Show Centre, Dublin, and in that time over 200 UK based qualifying SMEs have taken the opportunity to increase their exports in Ireland by using UKT&I funding.

This year we have just 50 grants of £1000 available to help with the cost of exhibiting and, with more and more companies looking to Europe for new business, applications are coming in thick and fast. Update: ***Only 10 more grants are available ***

If you see the potential in the Irish market and would like to find out whether you are eligible for the grant then you can request the latest exhibition information pack and UKT&I grant application form for Manufacturing Technology Ireland 2009 by emailing ianv@etes.co.uk with your name, company name, email address and telephone number or call +44 (0)1784 880890 to talk directly to one of the organising team.

Last year saw substantial numbers of quality visitors from Aerospace, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, Food & Drink, Handling Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, Medical, Metal Processing, Packaging, Computers/IT, Construction, Consumer Electronics, Energy/Water, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Storage and Rail, underlining the exhibition as the ‘must attend’ event for leading industry professionals.

Listed below are just a few of the comments from satisfied exhibitors:

“This is the best show in Ireland for generating business. From last year’s show we now have six new regular customers. This is business that could go on for the next ten years.” Ray Donoghue, Donoghue Packaging

“One of the best shows we have done in years. Visitor quality is most impressive. Senior engineers from Irish industry have turned up to ask about specific requirements – not just general fact gathering. We will leave with around 50 enquiries of which 15–20 are for actual applications. That’s more than at any exhibition we have done in the UK over the last 3–4 years. Enquiries from medical companies, Hewlett Packard, Tyco, Park Gate Foods and Ulster Carpets were amongst those we took. Our expectations were far exceeded.” Andrew Fallows, Motor Technology

“We already have a small but significant level of business in Ireland. The show was an ideal opportunity to test the wider market. The results have been overwhelming. The pharmaceutical and aerospace enquiries are outstanding. The most impressive thing is that the discussions have revolved around real problems that have to be addressed – not general interest. One of our best shows ever.” Mark Longworth, B&M Longworth

If you actively target any of the industries listed above and are looking to increase your business in Ireland then you need to exhibit at the Manufacturing Technology Ireland Exhibition, National Show Centre, Dublin, 14th-15th October 2009.

Request the latest exhibition information pack and UKT&I grant application form for Manufacturing Technology Ireland 2009 today by emailing ianv@etes.co.uk or call +44 (0)1784 880890.

P.S. All grants are allocated on a first come first served basis, only 10 remaining.
