With the new generation of feeders produced by Autotronik-SMT every single feeder can be programmed. The customer is now able to upload and then again download an ID number. Behind the ID number there is a database that includes the following information: ID number, type, component, lot code, date code,number of devices on the reel, type of tape and angle of packing.

�Behind this ID number there is practically a library for the feeder,� emphasises Bernhard Baumgartner, the managing partner of AUTOTRONIK-SMT.

These are single feeders driven by a motor and locked at the feeder rack to guarantee flexibility, stability, and easy installation and removal.
