TORRANCE,
CA — June 2011 —
Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading
provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, is pleased
to announce the promotion of Koichi Koba to Executive Vice President.
Koichi joined Seika Corporation’s Department of International Operations in 1997 and worked his
way up in the company, excelling in each of the positions that he has held. Additionally,
Koba has been a member of Seika Corporation’s Export Control Committee for the
past five years
As Executive Vice
President, Koichi will help drive the future growth of Seika Machinery’s
international business. “Our business has continued to grow thanks to our customers, and they are
our driving power and confidence. We continue to make every effort to provide
the most reliable machinery and latest SMT solutions to our
customers,” commented Koba.
Koba has a strong professional
background, including experience as an account executive of wind turbine plants and chief
of business administrations. He holds a Bachelor’s
Degree in Economics from Nagasaki University, and is fluent in English and
Japanese.
