At the APEX 2006, G�PEL electronic introduced a new controller family for SCANFLEX�: SFX/TSL1149-(x). which supports FireWire (IEEE 1394) USB2.0 and 10/100 MBit Ethernet. In addition to the market introduction of this new controller series, SCANFLEX� received the annual �Best in Test Award� in the category �Board & System Test�, arguably the most important award in the international test and measurement industry.  

SFX/TSL1149-(x) is the fourth family of SCANFLEX� controllers introduced within the last year and � just like the other controller families �is available in three performance classes: A, B, and C.   The models differ in the maximum TCK frequency (20, 50, and 80 MHz) and in the degree of implementation of the enhanced SPACE� chip set for high performance scan operations.

SFX/TSL1149-(x) is fully supported in the industry leading boundary scan software SYSTEM CASCON� from version 4.2.1 on and provides features such as hot insertion, DHCP and USB OTG. www.goepel.com
