전세계적으로. 경기 전망이 악화되고 있다. 소비자 가전 산업은 겨울과 봄을 지나면서 계절적 비수기로 인한 경기 후퇴 및 미국의 불경기와 동조화되고 있다. 이 같은 현실은 전자 업계가 적어도 초여름까지 ‘힘든 시기’를 지닐 것이라는 암시를 준다.
미국 내 소비자와 기업 간의 신뢰감은 꽁꽁 얼어붙었다. 미국 내 구매 매니저 인덱스 (차트 1)는 1월에 마이너스로 하락했다 (인덱스 < 50). 전세계 GDP 성장 수치 (차트 2)는 감소되고 있으며, 전세계 반도체 산업 주기는 침체 국면으로 접어들고 있다 (차트 3). 지난 11월 북미 지역에 공급된 칩 선적량은 눈에 띄고 감소하고 있으며, 이것은 미국 내 전기 어셈블리 활동이 후퇴하고 있음을 암시하고 있다. |
