The UK design and manufacturing community voted with its feet last week and helped to make the TCT 2007 show a resounding success.
More than 2000 people visited the two-day event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry which focused on Rapid Product Development and Rapid Manufacturing technologies. This increased attendance to view more than 100 exhibiting companies has ensured that TCT can now lay claim to be the UK’s foremost exhibition for product design and innovation technologies.
Highlights during the two days included the launch of many new products that were presented for the first time in the UK. The organisers of TCT 2007, Rapid News Publications, fully acknowledge that the success of the show is due in no small part to the substantial efforts of the exhibitors in ensuring that the event is a “must visit” for anyone working within the design and development community.
Mark Blezard, Managing Director of Rapid News commented, “We are extremely grateful to all of our exhibitors and our headline sponsors EOS and Huntsman Advanced Materials who put so much effort into their exhibits and made the show what it is — the premier event for RPD&RM technologies in the UK, if not worldwide.”
TCT 2007 attracted visitors from 27 different countries from around the world, which helps to cement its place in the annual calendar of Design and Manufacturing events on a global scale.
The organisers have been inundated with positive feedback for the event. Duncan Wood, TCT Event Director commented, “We have had an excellent response from our exhibitors, sponsors and visitors alike. The move to the Ricoh Arena has been well received and the development of the show has resulted in an unarguable increase in visitors, and thus leads for our exhibitors. We are delighted with this success and look forward to building on the momentum we have created for 2008.”
TCT 2008 will take place on October 21/22, 2008 at the Ricoh Arena and will co-locate alongside MMLive 2008, a new exhibition for the Micro Manufacturing Industry. |
