Association Connecting Electronics Industries® is pleased to announce that prominent PCB suppliers have pledged their commitment to exhibit at IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition, September 23–28, 2007, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, Schaumburg, Ill. These suppliers join an impressive list of companies, including some of the largest assembly equipment manufacturers that will be exhibiting at IPC’s newest event.
Leading PCB suppliers that will display their equipment and materials at the event include: Bürkle North America Inc., Chemcut Corporation, MacDermid Inc. and Uyemura & Co. Ltd.
"The Midwest has a strong PCB market and who but the IPC has the experience and resources to reach our market and our customers," David Howard, vice president of sales, Bürkle North America, explained.
IPC has 260 member companies in the Midwest comprising some of the top OEMs, electronics manufacturing services and printed circuit board manufacturing companies in the industry. “IPC is delighted to see the favorable response from PCB fabrication suppliers. For us, this confirms the respect and trust that companies in the electronics interconnection industry have for IPC and its events. From experience they know that with IPC, it’s not about size or how much we can profit from holding the show. We’re a member-driven association — for us, it’s about delivering a very focused, qualified audience in a fair and cost-effective manner to help exhibitors meet their marketing needs in the Midwest,” Denny McGuirk, president of IPC, said.
The exhibition, targeted specifically at the electronics assembly and PCB manufacturing industries, will begin at 10 am on Wednesday, September 26 and run through 2 pm on Friday, September 28. The show will host 150 exhibitors and occupy 25,000 square feet of exhibit space which will encompass the entire Schaumburg exhibition hall. The strong technical program will offer workshops and tutorials, a three-day conference, and standards development committee meetings covering all facets of the global electronics interconnection industry.
