JTAG Technologies' ProVision raises the boundary-scan bar Print E-mail

Application Executive adds automated JTAG test sequencing to ProVision v1.5JTAG Technologies continues to lead the boundary-scan industry forward with the latest release of its flagship development tool, JTAG ProVision. Already setting the standard for ease-of-use combined with superior test quality, ProVision version 1.5 encompasses even more functionality within its highly graphical user interface.

JTAG Technologies' Application Executor (AEX), a full-functioned test sequencer and manager, is now integrated into ProVision. Test engineers may develop and validate complete sequences for their test and device
programming applications using the conditional branching and command and control capabilities of AEX, all within the JTAG ProVision development environment. Sequences developed within JTAG ProVision are easily exported to run on stand-alone or integrated test systems stations using JTAG Technologies production software.

Other notable enhancements in version 1.5 of ProVision include: interaction via design schematics for setting key net states - using JTAG Visualizer plug-in; automated support of complex buffering and MUX configurations for flash programming and test; simplified generation of infrastructure tests; many new device models in the JTAG ProVision library.

As with previous releases, JTAG ProVision remains fully compatible with the prior "Classic" development tools as well as with all of JTAG Technologies production systems. The latest release is available free of  charge to customers with valid maintenance contracts.
