Dave Shaw, Etek Europe’s new Applications ManagerEtek Europe, a supplier of products and services to the European electronics industry, has revealed that Dave Shaw has joined its team as Applications Manager.

Dave spent the past few years developing new cleaning processes and methods to achieve significant cost reductions while improving process capability and repeatability. This involved significant investment in capital equipment and the development of cleaning processes and chemistries in order to achieve maximum process efficiency. This experience will be used at Etek Europe to provide technical and process support for new and existing customers of cleaning technologies.

Shaw joined the high-reliability aerospace electronics industry in 2007. He has experience as a Materials and Process Engineer at Goodrich Engine Controls Systems (later Aero Engine Controls), where he was involved in optimization and development of various cleaning processes for PCB assembly. Shaw holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Metallurgy.
