Rutronik becomes a distributor for Supermicro

Klug_MarioMario Klug, Product Sales ManagerRutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH and Super Micro Computer, Inc. have agreed that Rutronik will distribute Supermicro products in Europe. This includes Supermicro's complete portfolio of servers, workstations, blades, and storage, networking and embedded solutions. This expands its portfolio of Rutronik embedded systems for the industrial market.

Supermicro is expanding its portfolio to provide embedded solutions for the Industrial Automation and Controls Markets with the extended life support. Supermicro products complement our products perfectly,” said Mario Klug, Product Sales Manager Storage, Displays & Boards at Rutronik.  “We welcome Rutronik as our new partner in Europe. Working together we will expand our reach across the region in the Embedded Server and Industrial PC markets and complement their existing line of Supermicro products. Supermicro Workstations and HPC Solutions

 The new dual-CPU, 4 super GPU workstations Supermicro have a storage capacity of up to 288GB of RAM and 1792 GPU cores that allow a performance of 4.12 teraflops. They support Intel® Xeon®, and the second-generation Core™ processors and NVIDIA Quadro® GPUs and TeslaTM. This makes them ideal for use in research and development, CAD / CAM / CAE applications and 3D modelling.

The High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions from Supermicro Twin combine architecture with digital switching power supplies. The wide range of WIO / WIO + motherboard meets the industry standard, thanks to the great flexibility requirements of many applications. The GPU 1U/2U SuperServers®, Twin Architecture and SuperBlade® systems offer the highest density and performance. Solid and extendable systems are 3U, 4U (SYS-7047A-6) and workstation / tower configurations. The server boards and chassis combined with a super high-efficiency power supplies are the basis of Server Building Block Solutions® from Supermicro. They allow maximum flexibility and performance for configuration of application-specific solutions.
